2nd Borderless Real-Time Economy Round Table to take place in Helsinki
A two-day Real-Time Economy (RTE) Round Table event takes place on the 21st – 22nd of May 2018 in Helsinki. The event will gather RTE experts from Nordic and Baltic countries and will be a continuation of the discussions at the first RTE Round Table discussions held in Tallinn earlier this Spring.
The Round Table is organized by Estonian Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications and DIMECC Ltd in close cooperation with Technology Industries of Finland, The Finnish Ministry of Finance, and projects DIGINNO, PACINNO and RTECO.
The event is designed to facilitate discussion on topics related to ongoing RTE activities, and the goal of the event is to strengthen the Nordic-Baltic region’s position in RTE development and piloting. The RTE concept itself encompasses many highly relevant concepts for the future development of the Baltic Sea Region and is key to the realisation of an automated business environment, with technologies such as e-Receipts, e-Invoicing, Real Time Payments etc.
The Round Table event will be divided up into two days, where the first day will contain presentations and discussions regarding what Real-Time Economy is and what can be done to harness the Real-Time Economy’s potential. The second day will be based on several parallel thematic workshops where different more concrete implementations of RTE will be presented and discussed with representatives from relevant Estonian businesses.
By the end of the two day round table participants are supposed to have developed new ideas surrounding what can be done to strengthen the Nordic and Baltic countries’ leadership position in the field of Real-Time Economy, and hopefully have new ideas regarding how to implement RTE solutions in their own business or field.
The registration is open until Wednesday, May 16th.
